Alan K. Clark

Alan K. Clark is a Partner at Smith, Adcock and Company, CPAs, in Atlanta, GA. He has more than 44 years’ experience in public accounting, with a specialty in the construction industry.

A longtime author for CFMA Building Profits, Al has written on construction taxation, accounting, and financial reporting for numerous regional and national publications and publishing houses. He also speaks at local, regional, and national seminars and continuing education programs for construction industry groups, state CPA societies, and other continuing education organizations. Al has an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University.

He is a prior board member of CFMA’s Georgia Chapter, member of the Publications Advisory Group, and past chair of the Tax & Legislative Affairs Committee. He also belongs to the AGC Tax and Fiscal Affairs Committee. Al was also the 2016 recipient of CFMA’s Chairman’s Award.
